Chief Executive Officer
Eric Nelson is the Chief Executive Officer of Aquarius Health Services. He is an experienced healthcare executive with a 30+ year career spanning pharmaceutical and medical products distribution, pharmacy management, specialty pharmacy solutions, and business process improvement advisory services. As a certified Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt, he helps companies improve quality and efficiency. Lean Six Sigma, also referred to as operational excellence, has been deployed by leading companies all over the world to deliver best-in-class products and services.
He began his career as a sales representative with American Hospital Supply and advanced through increasing positions of responsibility with Cardinal Health, a Fortune 17 company, ultimately serving as Corporate Vice President and General Manager of the Integrated Services business, where he helped healthcare providers improve quality and manage cost.
Founding Aquarius Health Services
Building on his expertise as a cost management specialist, Eric transitioned to working with self-funded health plans and their members to reduce the cost of care during his tenure as President of Script Sourcing.
He founded Aquarius Health Services as the next level of operational excellence and quality improvement in healthcare. Today, he partners with employers, benefits consultants, agencies, plan members, and others in the self-funded ecosystem to bring a “tsunami” of improvement to healthcare through the deployment of operational excellence strategies and processes.
